Are email and SMS campaigns free to send?
The CRM and campaign tools have no monthly fee on Free. Each email or SMS campaign has a usage charge that you can review before sending. Only eligible, subscribed customers can receive marketing messages. See send pricing.
Do I need a paid plan to get started?
You can start with Free. Paid plans add a custom domain, phone and review tools, AI marketing, and marketing automation. Each plan includes the one before it. Compare plans to choose the features you need.
Can I use the merchant app on a small tablet?
Yes. The heymate! merchant app is designed for small tablets, giving your team a compact way to receive and manage online orders at the counter. Contact us to check your device and setup.
Can the app connect to my POS printer?
The merchant app can connect to a compatible POS receipt printer to print orders for your team. Compatibility depends on your printer and setup. Send us your printer model so we can help check it before you buy new hardware.
Which POS systems can I connect?
POS system integration currently supports Clover and is included in the AI marketing and Automation plans. Connecting a receipt printer to the merchant app is separate from connecting your POS system.
Can I offer pickup and delivery?
You can accept direct orders through your website and enable the fulfilment options that fit your business. For delivery, choose DoorDash Drive, Uber Direct, or your own drivers. Provider coverage and availability vary; courier charges and your own driver costs are separate. Explore delivery options.
Can customers book a table through my website?
Yes. Restaurant reservations are included in Free and every paid plan. Guests book through your website using your configured availability, and your team can manage bookings and statuses in one place. Explore reservations.
How does Stripe 3D Secure protect me from card fraud?
Our online card checkout requests Stripe 3D Secure (3DS), which lets the customer’s card issuer verify the payment. When a payment qualifies for liability shift, responsibility for eligible card-fraud disputes moves to the card-issuing bank, helping protect your business from those losses.
This protection depends on the authentication result and card-network rules. It does not cover every payment or disputes about delivery, product quality, refunds, or other non-fraud issues. Learn about Stripe’s 3DS protection.
Do I need to connect my Google or social accounts?
Connect your Google Business Profile to manage its menu, posts, and website links. Publishing marketing campaigns to Instagram, Facebook, or Google requires the relevant connected accounts and permissions. AI campaign creation and automation depend on your plan.
